Progressive Education Society, Pune, awarded   P.E.S. Modern Law College, the Shankarrao Kanitkar Clean Campus Award  for the year 2015 in the Professional College Section. The award was on the occasion of Kanitkar Day on 31st January 2015.

Considering his expertise in the field, the LL.B department of Modern Law College invited him to deliver a guest lecture on ‘Cyber Security.’ Sir had enlightened the students about various cyber crimes and threats like Hacking, Cyber Voyeurism, Stalking, Money Mulling/ Nigerian fraud etc. He also elaborated various security measures required for tackling these security threats. Sir has also thrown light on various career opportunities available in the field of Cyber Crime investigations and Cyber laws. The lecture received good response as 64 students attended the event.

9th Shankarrao Kanitkar State Level Moot Court Competition 10th January 2015

25-January-2015   P.E.S.Modern Law College had organised the   9th Shankarrao Kanitkar State Level Moot Court Competition   on 10th January 2015. 28 Law Colleges from Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Baramati, Latur and Nanded had participated in this Competition.   Balaji Law College, Pune   was declared the winning team, while   Navalmal Firodia Law College , Pune was declared Runners Up Team and  Ms. Nikita Pachade of Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh College of Law, Amravati   was adjudged  "Best Advocate ”.
