10-March-2013           P.E.S. Modern Law College, Pune, Diploma Section organised a  One Day Seminar On "The Career Opportunities in Law" on 9th March `2013.  The object of the seminar was to give an  insight about various Career opportunities available for law students in the Legal Sector. The Chief Guest for the seminar was Shri. V.K. Pawar, Deputy Director, Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Maharashtra. The Chief Guest addressed the students about the several career oppunities the law students have besides litigation. In the Second Session Adv.S.D.Dahiwal, Senior Advocate, District Court, Pune delivered a lecture on " Emerging Opportunities and Challanges in Legal Sector".              The Seminar was conducted under the guidance of Dr.Ganjanan Ekbote, Chairman, P.E. Society, Adv. Chintamani Ghate,Coordinator, Modern Law College and Dr. Meera Sapatnekar, Principal, Modern Law College.The Seminar was convened by Asst.Prof. Satish Munde and Asst.Prof.Sag

12-July-2013  Our Heartiest Congratulations to Mr. Hemant Chavan for securing  First Rank  in the University in Diploma in Cyber Law (D.C.L.)   Exam conducted by the University Of Pune Examination April 2012-13.

25-January-2015   P.E.S.Modern Law College had organised the   9th Shankarrao Kanitkar State Level Moot Court Competition   on 10th January 2015. 28 Law Colleges from Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Baramati, Latur and Nanded had participated in this Competition.   Balaji Law College, Pune   was declared the winning team, while   Navalmal Firodia Law College , Pune was declared Runners Up Team and  Ms. Nikita Pachade of Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh College of Law, Amravati   was adjudged  "Best Advocate ”. 

4-February-2015 Progressive Education Society, Pune, awarded   P.E.S. Modern Law College, the Shankarrao Kanitkar Clean Campus Award  for the year 2015 in the Professional College Section. The award was on the occasion of Kanitkar Day on 31st January 2015.

1-March-2013 Constitutionality of Capital Punishment in India – Recent Issues” on  28 th  February 2013. P. E. Society’s Modern Law College, Department of LL.M.  had  organised a State Level Seminar on  “ Constitutionality of Capital Punishment in India – Recent Issues” on  28 th  February 2013. Subthemes of the Seminar 1.    Capital Punishment for the act of terrorism in the light of Prevention of Terrorism Act. 2.   Changing meaning of “Rarest of Rare Case” – Recent Trends. 3.    Need of Capital Punishment for the offence of Rape – Need for a change in Law. 4.   Administrative and procedural delays in the awarding of death sentence.         5.     Changing meaning of crime by juveniles – Need for an overview. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Rasheed Shaikh, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Pune and Principal, A.K.K. New Law Academy, Pune. 20-December-2012  P.E.S. Modern Law College, Pune students conducted a benovelent activity of collecting donated clothes, books, stationary, and other utility items to be donated to various orphanages in Pune city. The donation activity was conducted from 14th to 18th December 2012. 

22-December-2012 Congratulates to Ms.Renuka Pandit  on securing  2nd Rank in Diploma in Cyber Laws Examination conducted by the University of Pune in March 2012.  

14-January-2013 P.E.S.Modern Law College, had organised the  7th Shankarrao Kanitkar State Level Moot Court Competition  on 12th January 2013. 24 Law Colleges from Mumbai, Nashik, Jalgaon and Rajgurunagar had participated in this Competition.  D.E.S.Law College, Pune  was declared the winning team, while  A.K.K. New Law Academy , Pune was declared Runners Up Team  and Mr.  Debayan Roy of A.K.K. New Law Academy  was adjudged "Best Advocate. The Valedictory and Prize Distribution session was presided over by  Adv. Ashokrao Sankpal, Chairman, Pune Bar Association . The Moot Court Competition was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Gajanan.R. Ekote Chairman, P.E.Society, Pune, Adv. Chintamani Ghate Co ordinator, and Dr, Meera Sapatnekar Principal Modern Law College.
